Thursday 2 July
L8 Interfaith Walk
5:00PM - 9:00PM at St Philip Neri, Liverpool

All are welcome to join the interfaith community in L8 to walk to all of the different places of worship in the area. Starting at St Philip Neri church, you will then go on to the Greek Orthodox Church of St Nicholas, Princes Road Synagogue before finishing at Al Rhama Mosque. Afterwards, there will be World Faith Cafe, where you can ask questions to faith leaders from across the city.

A Day For Catechists – 4 July
10am – 3:30pm at St Joseph’s Prayer Centre, Formby

Are you a catechist looking for spiritual renewal? Fr Luke Dominic Onwe, OCD and Fr Liam Finnerty, OCD are leading our Annual Day for Catechists this year, offering time to be inspired and strengthen your vocation as a catechist. Catholic Social Action Conference 2026: Humanitas: Flourishing in Action at Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, Liverpool

The social action conference is an annual event in the life of the archdiocese, bringing together people working in the faith-based charity sector, volunteers, and anyone with an interest in social justice advocacy and Catholic Social Teaching. We have an excellent line-up of speakers and workshop hosts, including a keynote from Jenny Sinclair, Director of Together for the Common Good and host of the Leaving Egypt podcast. Retreat Day: Francis: A Saint for Today?
9:30am – 4:00pm at Poor Servants of the Mother of God, St Joseph’s Convent, Blundell Avenue, Formby, L37 1PH

The Archdiocese of Liverpool invites you to walk alongside others on a day of spiritual journeying in the Franciscan spirit, as Hazel Bradley of the L’Arche community joins us at St Joseph’s Prayer Centre in Formby for a day of retreat, prayer, and encounter with God in creation. In the beautiful surroundings of forest and sea, St Joseph’s offers a brilliant place to explore St Francis’ spirituality during this Franciscan Jubilee Year. There is no charge for the day, but please bring your own lunch.
